Nathan Eckberg, Lead Developer & Project Manager

Nathan Eckberg is our Lead Developer and Project Manager, spearheading the development efforts of Ability Financial Exchange with a keen focus on customer-centric innovation. Since joining our team in late November 2021, Nathan has been instrumental in driving the evolution of our products to better serve our valued customers.

With a degree in computer science from Stark State College of Technology, Nathan brings a strong technical background and a passion for software development to his role. His general duties encompass leading the development team, prioritizing and resolving issues within AFX, and steering the product roadmap to align with customer needs and market trends.

Nathan’s favorite part of the job lies in collaborating with a dedicated and flexible team, all united by a shared commitment to enhancing our product offerings and delivering exceptional value to our customers. He finds immense satisfaction in knowing that the code he writes every day can positively impact small business owners worldwide, streamlining and improving their lives and operations.

Outside of work, Nathan cherishes spending time with his wife and children, enjoying outdoor activities and soaking up the Ohio sunshine. An enthusiast of recreational powerlifting, he’s always on the lookout for new equipment to enhance his home gym. Additionally, Nathan is deeply involved in his church community at Maranatha Bible Church, where he has been serving in worship leadership since high school.

When he’s not busy with work or family, Nathan enjoys indulging in podcasts, favoring shows like the Massenomics Podcast, Dave Tate’s Table Talk, Accidental Tech Podcast, and Connected.

Nathan’s recent accolade includes winning an online video competition hosted by the Massenomics Podcast, showcasing his creativity and talent in promotional video production.
